Dosign Privacy Statement

 

Note to the reader
This privacy statement consists of two parts, a first part that relates to freelancers and potential temporary employees (paragraph 1) and a second part that relates to employees or representatives of (potential) clients, suppliers and other companies (paragraph 2).

1. Data processed by Dosign from freelancers and potential temporary employees

Dosign processes personal data for the execution of its corporate objectives encompassing training, staffing, job posting, recruitment and selection of personnel. The starting point for processing your personal data is that you make this data available to Dosign out of your own free will, and only for the purpose for which you have provided it to Dosign, namely:

a. to comply with applicable laws and regulations;
b. to enter into and maintain a temporary employee/employer relationship with you or a client/service provider and to carry out a personnel, financial, time, absenteeism and/or salary administration for this purpose, or to enter into and maintain a relationship aimed at acquiring / executing assignments and to keep an (financial) administration for this purpose;
c. to assess your suitability for a particular job or assignment, to record your availability and to put you in contact with or to propose to one or more (potential) clients;
d. in order to be able to conclude and execute agreements with you, our client(s) and to be able to execute and comply with them;
e. to fulfil our reintegration obligations in respect of temporary employees;
f. to inform you about our services, other activities and/or professional information (e. g. via e-mail, newsletters, company magazines and professional literature) and to be able to make offers on behalf of Dosign;
g. to generate management information, carry out market analyses, (internal and external) inspections, audits and examinations, and to promote and maintain operational safety;
h. if applicable, to have an external party check the validity of the identity document you submit and/or to have a screening carried out.

You make your data available by sending us your CV and the other required data by e-mail or any other medium.

Your personal data will be handled carefully and securely in accordance with the Data Protection Directive and its successor, the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR)

Dosign processes i.a. the following data: name, address, place of residence, e-mail address, telephone number, contact details, nationality, date and place of birth, gender, marital status, CV, work experience, bank account number, health insurance policy or customer number, education and training details, certificates (copy), references (copy), photocopy of passport photo, ID proof (copy), citizen service number, work permit (copy) and residence permit (copy).

Dosign may pass on your personal data to its (potential) clients, suppliers (e. g. training bodies), audit authorities, government agencies, subcontractors and to companies and/or individuals it has engaged to perform certain tasks (including responsible agents/processors). Dosign may also provide your data to third parties if it is entitled or obliged to do so by virtue of the applicable laws and/or regulations, a court order or a judicial judgment, or if it has obtained permission from you to do so. Dosign may also place your profile or CV on its website(s) and customer portals, either anonymised or not, after you have given permission to do so.

Dosign does not retain your personal data for any longer than is necessary for the purposes for which this data was collected and complies with applicable laws and regulations.

2. Data processed by Dosign from employees or representatives of (potential) clients, suppliers and other companies

We use personal data that Dosign receives from employees or representatives of (potential) clients, suppliers, vendors and other companies or institutions for the following purposes:

a. to enable the use of our services and/or the use of your services;
b. to establish and maintain a commercial relationship with you;
c. to agree and/or carry out contracts;
d. to inform you about our services and other activities (e. g. via e-mail, newsletters and company magazines) and to be able to make offers to you;
e. to comply with applicable laws and regulations.

Dosign processes i.a. the following data: (business) data (name, address, location/residence), date of birth (optional, i. e. if provided), email address, data for maintaining the relationship, function and contact details.

Dosign may pass on your personal data to its (potential) clients, suppliers (e. g. training bodies), audit authorities, government agencies, subcontractors and to companies and/or individuals it has engaged to perform certain tasks (including responsible agents/processors). Dosign may also provide your data to third parties if it is entitled or obliged to do so by virtue of the applicable laws and/or regulations, a court order or a judicial judgment, or if it has obtained permission from you to do so. Data security
Dosign makes every effort to take appropriate organisational and technical measures to protect your personal data against unlawful processing and/or loss. Employees of Dosign who have access to your personal data are bound by a confidentiality clause.

Despite the security measures taken by us, it could happen that third parties still manage to circumvent the aforementioned measures and/or to use your personal data for improper purposes. Dosign can never be held liable for this in any way whatsoever

Liability
Dosign's liability for indirect damage, including consequential damage and loss of income, is excluded in all cases. Any liability is also limited to a maximum amount of € 1,000 per event and a maximum of € 10,000 per calendar year. Dosign's liability will in any event never exceed the amount covered by its insurance policy in the case in question and will be paid out.

Right of inspection
You can ask us at any time by e-mail ([email protected]) or by letter (Dosign, att. Juridische Zaken, Fascinatio Boulevard 258, 3065WB Rotterdam, The Netherlands) to indicate which data we process from you. In addition, you can request your data to be added, corrected or deleted at any time via the procedure described above. We aim to respond to your request within 1 (one) month of receiving your request.

Questions, comments and complaints
If you have any questions, comments or complaints regarding this Privacy Statement or the way Dosign registers, uses and processes your data, you can make them known by e-mail ([email protected]) or by letter (Dosign, att. Juridische Zaken, Fascinatio Boulevard 258, 3065WB Rotterdam, The Netherlands). We aim to respond within 1 (one) month after receipt of your question, comment or complaint.
