As a Piping Engineer you are the specialist in the design of piping systems. At the client you will prepare, plan and engineer these projects, in accordance with the program of requirements, the applicable laws and regulations, the technical guidelines and the wishes of the client. In addition, you provide the management / guidance of a number of (sr) constructors during the engineering of these projects. Tasks and activities

  • You work largely independently on the design of large to very complex installations, with a lot of information exchange between colleagues and clientsYou can check drawings and calculations yourself, taking the initiative for troubleshooting and advice in case of complex issues;
  • In general, you do not hesitate to provide your own insights for improvement, in function of quality in terms of design and realizationYou will have to carry out certain activities at a client's site.

Job requirements

  • In addition to your education or experience at HBO level, you are eager to learn and open to personal development. Collaboration is important, because you work as a team on a high-quality end resultYou have at least 5 years of experience as an Engineer in an industrial environment and are familiar with national and international codes, norms and standardsYou are familiar with both basic software (Windows/MS Office) and professional software (including laser scans (software), AutoCAD, Plant3D, Navisworks, etc.) for performing your work;
  • You can communicate (speaking and writing) in the Dutch and English languageFor visits to project locations, you must have a VCA VOL certificate (if you do not yet have one, you can obtain this through us.
