We are always looking for experienced Lead Mechanical Engineer who are interested in finding new possibilities in the Dutch market.

Do you have 10+ years of experience as a Mechanical Engineer and do you have at least 5+ years experience in a lead position?

Our client is a globally operating multidisciplinary engineering firm within the sectors of industry, infrastructure & traffic, Construction & installations, handling, maritime, offshore & energy and water. With departments such as process engineering, mechanical, piping, instrumentation, electrical, civil, structural, procurement and project management. This company has offices spread across the Netherlands. A lot of attention is paid to your development, so you will be challenged for a long period of time. Working from home a few days a week is also possible at this company, as long as the work permits of course.

Tasks and activities

• The activities depend on the project and the client and may include;
• Leading a team with multiple disciplines;
• Make sure that the proper equipment specifications and selections are made which meet all requirements;
• Close collaboration with project management;
• Prepare hour and costs estimates, execution of work and keep track of the project progress;
• Take part in technical reviews and evaluations to assure quality standards;
• Give guidance to junior mechanical engineers and provide technical expertise to other disciplines.

Job requirements

• Minimum of 7 years of experience in a similar role;
• Experience as project leader or management role;
• Excellent English language skills and Dutch is an pre.
