Dosign is looking for a Piping Engineer for one of its clients in the region of Limburg. As Piping Engineer you are the specialist in designing piping systems. At the client you prepare, plan and engineer these projects in accordance with the program of requirements, the applicable laws and regulations, the technical guidelines and the wishes of the client. In addition, you take care of the management / supervision of a number of (sr) constructors during the engineering of these projects. Your function plays an important role in the realization of the design and contributes to a high quality end result.

They are active within the different phases of Engineering, such as conceptual, FEED, basic and detail engineering. In terms of project types you can think of sustainability projects, maintenance projects, revamp projects, plant optimizations, Turn Around projects and new construction projects. Wat ga je doen als Piping Engineer

  • Design and calculate piping systems in accordance with applicable standards and regulations
  • Coordinate and manage piping projects, including planning, budgeting and quality assurance
  • Perform technical calculations, such as material selection, pressure loss and stress analysis
  • Drafting technical specifications and ISO's
  • Review and approve design drawings and documentation
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards
  • Contribute to continuous improvement and innovation in piping engineering
  • Collaborate with other disciplines, such as mechanical engineers, process engineers and project managers, to solve technical issues and achieve project goals.

Wat neem je mee?

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in mechanical engineering, chemical engineering or a related field
  • Minimum 5 to 7 years of experience as a Piping Engineer within the industry
  • In-depth knowledge of pipeline design, piping codes and standards
  • Experience designing and calculating piping systems
  • Strong analytical skills and problem solving ability
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively with various stakeholders
  • Experience with 3D software like plant3D, Smartplant 3D or E3D
  • You have an excellent knowledge of the English language both verbally and in writing.
