As an medior Electrical Engineer at our client, you will work on multidisciplinary projects. You are responsible for performing system studies & calculations; for designing the layout for cable routing, grounding and lighting; but also for maintaining the consumer list.

Our client is a major player in technology. As installers, they are represented in, among other things, asset management, energy transition, engineering, building installations, ICT, industrial maintenance and management, industrial projects, infrastructure and mobility, inspections, machine construction, mobile networks, wet infrastructure and public lighting.

Tasks and activities

  • Responsible for power system design during design stage, equipment procurement stage, manufacturing stage and installation stage;
  • Interface management with other department (like HVAC, Civil, instrument etc.) & Other units;
  • Responsible for Electrical System Design Drawing & Layouts;
  • Responsible for Material Requisition & Material take off;
  • Review of third-party equipment drawing based on project / work scope in line with regulations.

Job requirements

  • Minimum of 5 Year of proven experience in Electrical design (Oil & Gas, Chemical, Offsite, Power or Renewable Power);
  • Has high level technical education (Degree or equivalent) in electrical, power system or relevant engineering discipline;
  • Familiar with software like Autocad, Navis, Interlec, ETAP & Dialux;
  • Some experience of supervisory position;
  • Good communication skill to effectively manage the site, Client & third party (suppliers & contactors);
  • Willing to travel if required.

Expectations from the candidate

  • - Knowledge of Electrical LV & MV distribution system.
  • - Knowledge of engineering practices, codes & standard.
  • Knowledge of electrical equipment sizing calculation (Ex. Transformer sizing, cable sizing, voltage drop calculation,
  • lighting calculation, grounding calculation);
  • Can verify the system design and equipment selection;
  • Knowledge of design, Operation of electrical equipment including UPS, Diesel Generator, Transformer, Switchgear
  • & other components of power distribution system;
  • Ability to take decision in field of responsibility;
  • Ability to work in multi discipline project team;
  • Proactive attitude & Team Player.
