Are you an ambitious commissioning engineer ready for an international challenge? Become a problem solver in fast-paced data center projects and join our growing team of 5 engineers. We're looking for a responsible on-site representative to manage the complete testing and commissioning processes of our energy distribution systems. Your goal: delivering high-quality projects within the agreed timeline while prioritizing safety. Together with 150 colleagues, you'll realize hyper-scale data center projects across Europe.This employer is an all-rounder in electrical engineering and electronics, providing a wide range of products and systems from design to delivery. Tasks and activities
- Complete commissioning process according to performance indicators;
- Coordinate and manage commissioning team;
- Monitor results against technical requirements;
- Ensure team follows guidelines, processes, and procedures;
- Act as on-site technical representative and attend meetings and milestones;
- Perform commissioning-related administrative tasks on-site;
- Assess risks and opportunities at the site;
- Ensure compliance with standards, regulations, legislation, quality, and EHS guidelines;
- For smaller projects, the Commissioning Engineer conducts testing and commissioning tasks independently; for larger projects, they manage and lead a team responsible for the execution.
Job requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in electrical engineering;
- Proven track record in commissioning field;
- Expertise in data center projects (or energy/utility industry);
- Safety-conscious;
- Strong communication skills, positive, and 'can do' attitude;
- Detailed knowledge of testing and commissioning energy distribution systems (e.g., medium and low voltage switchgear and transformers);
- Experience in testing and commissioning secondary systems (e.g., CTs, VTs, protection relays, automation and control systems, and bus communication protocols);
- Hands-on experience with relevant testing and commissioning methods, equipment, and reporting (e.g., primary and secondary injection, ductor, insulation resistance, HiPot, fault detection, and functional testing);
- Willingness to work abroad for extended periods;
- Fluent in English (Dutch would be great);
- Driver's license.
